CADG serves as the development consultant for the Foundation and volunteers to provide administrative support. The mission of the Community Asset Development Group is to develop community assets in partnership with local communities. CADG was founded in 2009 by Dave Pokorney and Bob Roepke and operates as a limited liability company under the State of Minnesota. Mr. Pokorney spent 40 years as a local government professional serving in the communities of Roseville, Mahtomedi and Chaska. For the last 25 years, he was the Chaska City Administrator and in 2008 was recognized as the year's outstanding local government manager receiving the Robert Barret Award for Management Excellence. After retiring he created CADG to continue his passion of serving small towns by developing community assets. Bob Roepke had a distinguished career as an elected local government official serving Chaska Mn for 20 years, 16 of which he was mayor. In his professional life, he was a thirty-year human resources professional for 3M.
